As 1998 began, the nWo began to splinter. Randy Savage and Kevin Nash began to pull away from the group, and they would officially break away to form the nWo Wolfpac, while the original nWo became known as as nWo Hollywood. The two nWo factions vied for Sting's allegiance, and when decision-time came, Sting appeared wearing a black and white nWo shirt... but he soon tore off the shirt to reveal the red and black of the nWo Wolfpac!
