A third-generation Superstar, The Rock debuted in 1996 as Rocky Maivia. With a unique look and a sports-entertainment lineage, "The Blue Chipper" hit the ground running. His first match happened at Survivor Series in a traditional eight-man elimination tag match where he was the sole survivor for his team. Not long after, he won the first of his many titles, the Intercontinental Championship.
