Sean Waltman left the WWE in 1996 and joined the nWo under the name Syxx. He would go on to beat talents like Dean Malenko and Rey Mysterio along his way to earning the WCW Cruiserweight Championship. In 2002 Waltman would become the first Superstar to reign as the WCW Cruiserweight Champion and WWE Light Heavyweight Champion simultaneously.
